An aluminum foil bag is a major cause of secondary contamination of products after sterilization. Conventional chemical or physical disinfection methods damage the quality of packaging materials. Microwave disinfection is lower than the temperature required by conventional heating disinfection, which will not have a great impact on the quality of products. As far as the sterilization technology of plastic packaging bags is concerned, it is mainly aimed at the sealed aluminum foil bag. Because this sterilization is in the goods after the packaging of sterilization, generally do not use chemical methods. These sterilization technologies are mainly as follows:

1, Hot charge sterilization method

 

This is a kind of food or drinks heated to 80 ~ 90, while hot into the hot aluminum foil bag, after sealing, in high temperature or a certain temperature storage sterilization method. This process is mainly used for liquid foods with high acidity.

 

2, Cooking sterilization method

 

This method is mainly used for some smaller acidic food, such as meat, fish, poultry, milk, eggs, and so on. The sterilization temperature is generally 121℃ or 134. The method used is to put the aluminum foil bag (cooking bag) into a high-pressure airtight container and heat it with steam or pressurized water.

According to the different conditions of the cooking bag in sterilization can be divided into static heating sterilization and rotary heating sterilization. Pressurized high-temperature sterilization according to the different heating mediums, and can be divided into saturated steam sterilization, air pressure steam sterilization and pressure water sterilization, etc. At present, it is widely used for saturated steam sterilization, because the cost of this way is reasonable and humidity control is convenient.

 

3, Ultraviolet sterilization

 

The aluminum foil bags can also be used to sterilize food or drinks after being irradiated with high-efficiency ultraviolet light. In the use of this method, depending on the size of the packaging bag, the content of the number, and determine the intensity of ultraviolet radiation and time.
